East Castle: Macau's Theme-Room Pioneer, Mapped

The roster gains its seventh house this month: East Castle Spa, “the Castle” to its regulars, on floors 3–4 of the Casa Real Hotel in NAPE — the gold castle façade is visible from the street corner. Its claim to a slot is simple: scenario theme rooms in Macau started here. If you have ever played a scripted role-play game, you already understand the pitch — step into a set, take on the scene, and let the night run differently.
First, place it on the map
Macau’s high-end saunas mostly follow the “classic house” pattern: bath hall, massage, dining, rest — one polished programme. The Castle’s core is exactly that — but stacked on top is something no other house carries: twenty-plus scenario rooms built as real sets. It is neither a novelty shop nor a plain classic house; it is a classic house wearing a theatre’s wardrobe. First-timers get a familiar programme; veterans get something genuinely new.
The rooms, group by group
The list is long enough to blur on a first read, so take it in three temperaments:
| Group | Signature rooms | For whom |
|---|---|---|
| Immersive | Prison, interrogation room, hospital, ambulance | Full role-play commitment |
| Everyday-twist | Classroom, office, restaurant, coach, aircraft cabin | A familiar scene, played differently |
| Active | Gym, boxing ring, golf range, car wash | The restless and the photographers |
A few deserve their own line:
- The aircraft cabin — the famous one. Rows of seats built for real, window curvature included; the little ritual of “boarding” is something no other house in town can stage.
- Prison and interrogation room — the immersive flagship pair: bars, interrogation table, the lot. Committed role-players head straight here.
- Hospital and ambulance — an actual ambulance, inside the venue. The most extreme proof of what “real sets” means.
- Gym and boxing ring — real equipment, a real ring; the two most photogenic rooms in the house.
- Classroom and office — the gentle openers: familiar scenes, lowest threshold, the safe first pick.
Photography of the real rooms is on the Castle’s venue page.
The menu: three massages, and the threshold IS the experience
From July 2026 the Castle runs a simplified menu of three full-body massage styles; the venue put up a new price board on 18 September 2026, and these are the current all-in rates:
| Treatment | Duration | All-in price (MOP) |
|---|---|---|
| Aroma full-body massage | 90 min | 2,288 |
| Oil full-body massage (free-choice) | 60 min | 3,288 – 3,888 |
| Premium full-body | 60 min | 4,988 – 6,688 |
The figure shown is the figure billed — service charge and tax are inside it. From MOP 3,288 upward each figure is a base of MOP 2,488 – 3,688 plus a compulsory per-tier gratuity paid to the therapist (colour +800 / green +1,000 / red +1,500 / pink +2,000 / blue +2,500 / white +3,000), added when the order is placed. That gratuity is required, not discretionary. The MOP 2,288 tier carries none. The lineup itself is multinational.
The line that matters: the minimum spend on entry is MOP 2,288 — and it already includes a 90-minute full-body massage plus in-house food and drink. The entry threshold is itself the complete experience; there is no maze of add-on charges just to get moving. Upgrade the massage tier if you want more.

How a night flows
The regulars’ pattern, start to finish:
- Check in — wristband, luggage with reception, valuables in a locker
- Bath hall first — a proper soak changes the massage entirely
- The theme room — the set you named at booking, held for you; this is the Castle’s main act
- Massage to close the loop — the 90-minute aroma session is the value pick
- Refuel — the minimum spend includes free food and drink, welcome after a late session
- Sleep it off — past a certain hour, don’t chase a ride; take the lobby rest area or a paid private rest room and leave in the morning
Hours and staying over
- Open 24 hours — the house itself never closes
- Therapists on shift 15:00 – 06:00 — time a massage inside that window; arriving after 3 p.m. is the safe pattern
- Overnight stays — allowed. For privacy, book a paid private rest room; the lobby rest area stays open as usual. There is no free private rest room here, so budget that line in advance
What the bill actually comes to
The Castle’s board is easy to budget for one reason: the figure shown is the figure billed — service charge and tax are inside it, so nothing appears at the till that wasn’t on the board. Worked example: a night on the MOP 2,288 minimum bills at MOP 2,288, and that already covers the 90-minute aroma full-body massage plus in-house food and drink. Trading up, an oil session bills at MOP 3,288 – 3,888 and a premium session at MOP 4,988 – 6,688 — those two figures are a base of MOP 2,488 – 3,688 combined with the compulsory per-tier gratuity, settled in one number when the order is placed. So the budget is three numbers: 2,288, from 3,288, and from 4,988 with a ceiling of 6,688.
Choosing the free add-on
Book through us and one free add-on treatment is yours to choose: back scrub, leg massage, head massage, foot massage, hand massage, manicure, pedicure, or ear cleaning. The Castle and Majesty run one each; the other houses on the roster run two — so pick carefully here. Two standing recommendations: foot massage after a full day of walking, or ear cleaning if you want the one treatment Macau regulars increasingly queue for.
Against the other six
Each of the six classic houses holds its own trump card — Manhao’s grand hall is among Macau’s largest, Shang Pin fields a roster of ninety-plus therapists. The Castle’s edge is the one thing none of them can copy: the sets. If the point of the night is to step into a different world, only one house in Macau offers twenty of them. For a side-by-side, the ranking page lays the houses out by play style — or just message us “theme rooms” and we will match by preference.
Booking through this site
Entry fee waived, free transfers anywhere in Macau including the return, and the one free add-on above — all three apply to bookings made through this site; walk-ins follow the house’s own arrangements. The flow is the usual one: message us the room and time → car meets you at your hotel door → arrive and start.
Frequently asked
Which room first? The everyday-twist group is the safe opener — classroom or aircraft cabin. Save the immersive set for a second visit.
Fine to go alone? Entirely — the programme is the same as for a group. Note preferences when booking and the room is held.
Best time to arrive? For a massage in the same visit, after 3 p.m. is the reliable window; for baths and rest alone, any hour works.
Is the theme room charged separately? Room arrangements are confirmed at booking, per what the Castle publishes on the day — we settle the full number with you before you set out.
Tell us which room caught your eye and we will set the time and the set in one go. Rooms and charges follow what the Castle publishes on the day, reconfirmed item by item when you book.
