Batangyu (八湯御桑拿) is the newest sauna & spa address on the Macau peninsula, opening 26 August 2026 on the 4th floor of the New Orient Landmark Hotel at 555 Avenida da Amizade in NAPE — the door sign reads 八湯御, also listed as 御桑拿 YU SAUNA. The fit-out is Japanese zen crossed with Chinese detailing: a hinoki dry sauna beside a glass steam room, a bright hot-pool hall, one corridor hung with red lanterns and another lit in neon, and private massage rooms that each come with their own bath. Pricing runs from MOP 1,199 for sauna-only entry — which doubles as the minimum spend on entry — through a Shanghai-style massage at 1,999 and packages at 2,499–6,399, up to the Japanese-theme package at 7,399, plus a 10% service charge. The house is open 24 hours, while the multinational lineup is on duty from 1:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Minutes from the Outer Harbour ferry terminal, about ten from the Border Gate and fifteen from the airport. We arrange; you simply arrive.

The glass steam room keeps the heat in and lets the light through — you sweat it out without ever feeling shut in.
A private massage room with its own bath, lights kept low — once the door closes, the next stretch of the evening is yours alone.
The hinoki dry sauna smells of fresh-cut wood and the heat is dry and clean — ten minutes in, your shoulders let go first.
The neon corridor changes the register entirely — colour leads you towards the rooms, and it gets quieter the further you go.
The shower area is part of the 2025 fit-out — rinse off after the steam, then on to the hot pools or your room.
The dining lounge is dark wood under warm light — sit down with tea after the steam and the pace slows on its own.

Late at night the dining area quiets down but the warm light stays — the best hour for an unhurried meal.

Arrival
The shuttle stops at the New Orient Landmark Hotel, 555 Avenida da Amizade; take the lift to the 4th floor and reception is right there. The sign at the door reads Yu Sauna — you are in the right place. Register at the desk, collect a wristband, and the pace of the evening is ours to run.
Changing & Showers
The changing room and shower area are a 2025 fit-out, with lockers, robes and slippers all provided. Once you have changed, Macau's noise stays on the other side of the door.
Dry Sauna, Steam Room, Hot Pools
The hinoki dry sauna smells of cedar-like wood, the glass steam room lets light through the heat, and the hot-pool hall is wide and bright. Rotate through the three for twenty or thirty minutes and the body lets go first.
A Pause in the Lounge
The dining lounge is dark wood under warm light — the place for tea or a meal once you are out of the steam. What is on the menu that day, we check for you when you book.
Meeting the Lineup
The multinational lineup is on duty from 1:00 PM to 6:00 AM — the house itself never closes, so the two are separate things. Once you have chosen, the manager confirms your tier on the spot: sauna-only entry MOP 1,199, which is also the minimum spend; Shanghai-style massage 1,999; starter packages 2,499–3,799; popular packages 3,999–5,799; premium packages 4,999–6,399; and the Japanese-theme package at 7,399.
Down the Corridor
Walk the red-lantern lattice corridor, or the neon-lit one, to a private massage room. Every room has its own bath; once the door closes, the next stretch of the evening belongs to you.
The Session
Hand the time over in a room of your own. Want two therapists at once? A double (雙鐘) adds a second therapist to the same hour for MOP 999–3,900; just tell the manager.
Checkout
Bills carry a 10% service charge on top; cash, card, WeChat Pay and Alipay are generally accepted, subject to the venue on the day. Book through us in advance and your perks (the free shuttle and two free add-on treatments from the list) are applied precisely at checkout. One message brings the car back for the ride home.
